This document has been developed by Wounds Australia to support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the application of aseptic technique in wound dressing procedure. It is based on the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare and, Standard 3 - ‘Preventing and Controlling Healthcare Associated Infections’ within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
