Day Surgery Australia
Day Surgery Australia is the official journal of the Australian Day Surgery Nurses Association. This fully refereed journal is distributed widely to day surgery professionals, as well as to universities and nursing colleges. The journal reflects current practice and reports on new Australian and international trends and developments. In addition to clinically-oriented material, the journal provides a forum for research reports, discussion papers and networking. Day surgery was first introduced into Australia in 1982, now around 60% of all surgery conducted is day surgery. Today there are 260 free standing day surgery centres in Australia and they continue to be built. ADSNA is developing distribution links in New Zealand.
